Route 2: Around Wat Chedi Sawn, Lampang
 

From the Old City Hall, (ศาลากลางจังหวัดลำปางหลังเก่า) you bike northwards through Wat Katuengchiangmun and cross Ratsadapisak Bridge. (สะพานรัษฏาภิเษก) Then, turn right to Phratumar Road, which used to be Wiang Muang during the Khelang Nakhon period. Keep riding and you will see Samnak Patibattham Susan Triluck on you right. There is the molded figure of the disciple Buddha image, named Phra Kasem Kemmako in front. While you’re straddle slowly, you will see houses, building and the life style of the people there.

On the way, you can see a field surrounded by Chedi and huge trees. If you keep riding for 4.5 kilometers, you will reach Wat Chedi Sawn (วัดเจดีย์ซาว) which means twenty Chedi, (Sawn in the northern dialect means twenty) in the center of the crossroads. This Wat that was decorated with molded figures and huge tree are around wat. The old story mentions that Twenty Chedi was installed in the reign of Phrachow Milint who had faith in Buddhism. He asked for lock of Buddhits saint’s hair to keep in Chedi in order to pay homage, Beside Chedi, there is the Chinag Sam art style of image of Buddha, Tanjai Buddha in small Vihara. Sansae Tongkam Buddha, the Lanna style was also installed in this Wat. The out standing thing of this Buddha is that a part of the Buddha can be taken off.
