Chainat Bird Park:
established in the year 1973 locating in Khao Plong area Moo 4
Tambon Ka\hao Tha Phra about 4 kms. east of downtown. Chainat with a
total area of 260 rais consisting of the largest birds cage within
in Asai
(covering an area of 26 rais).
There are several smaller cages within the giant ones. Birds are set
to fly freely in those cages. The park also features artificial
waterfall, greenery playground, snakes farm, rabbit farm, mid-pond
pavilion houses, handcraft shops and freshwater acquarium. The Birds
Farm is open from 08.00 to 17.00 hrs.

Wat Phra Borom That
Voraviharn
is an ancient buddist temple built at the beginning of Ayutthaya
period situated at Ban Tai Muang, Tambon Chainat about 4 kms. from
downtown. It was formally known as Wat Phra That or Wat Hau Muang.
There is a containing Lord Buddhas relic. The architecture of the
temple belongs to Ayutthaya period.
Chainatmuni National
Museum is located within
Wat Phra Borom That Voraviharn. The museum has a large display of
Buddha status and Buddha images ranging from Tavaravadee period up
to early Rattanakodin period in addition, there are displays of
ancient stonewares, tools and decorative items. The museum is opened
Wednesday to Sunday between 08.00 12.00 hrs. and 13.00 to 16.00
hrs. and closed on Monday, Tuesday and official holidays.

Wat Thammamul
Voravihan
is an ancient temple in the province dated back to Ayutthaya period
locating in the area of Thammamul Hill. On the eastern bank of the
Chao Phraya River at Moo 1, Tambon Thammamul about 8 kms. north of
the city. The main chamber of the temple features a sacred Buddha
statue in the Phang Ham Yaad form, and artistic creation combining
Ayutthaya and Sukhothai influences in the right hand of the Buddha
statue holds the wheel of Dhama illustrating one of the ten
characteristics of great man. This particular status is highly
respected and widely worshiped by the natives of Chainat and nearby
provinces. Within the temple, theres also another artistic piece of
double Sema made from sandstones craved in Ayutthaya style.
