The Cha Wan is Krabi's newest boutique hotel, just a few minutes stroll away from Krabi's lovely Ao Nang beachfront. With only ten individual, Thai-styled chalets, it is the perfect choice for those wanting utter peace and tranquility amidst beautifully landscaped gardens.  Shallow fish ponds are dotted around the gardens, each sporting lotus blooms and cascading fountains, so the resulting sounds add to the overall soothing ambience.

At Cha Wan,we've named our rooms 'Golden Suites'. Each is 65 square metres in size, have views of the two swimming pools and garden and although architecturally designed in traditional Thai-style, are fully equipped with every modern facility. Floors of the main rooms are made from local hardwoods that gleam - yet are warm underfoot.

Bathrooms have huge tubs, ample space for guests possessions and a totally separate top-down shower room. The WC is housed in a separate room  .

Individually controlled air conditioning ensures guests are in charge of their preferred comfort level of temperature. Coffee and tea making facilities, as well as bottled drinking water are included, as is a mini bar,  safe,  29 inch TV, DVD player and full internet access.

The private balconies are huge. Each has beautifully made loungers with incorporated foot rests, basketwork chairs and a glass-topped dining table. Room service is freely available from breakfast until bedtime.
