 THE
VILLAGE OLD BARN
The most prominent structure on the Village Farm is the ‘Old
Barn’, a traditional, timber edifice that has always
provided the focal point for farm and country life.
Originally, the Barn was the heartbeat of farming activity,
used as a production mill and storage facility for the
farm’s produce and equipment.
A vast, timber shingled
roof sits over a loft and an open ‘workspace’, supported by
massive timber columns. The open-to-nature design of the
traditional village barn allows guests to live and breath
the country life from its heart, whether that be: absorbing
yourself in the morning mists during breakfast, taking in
the sweeping landscape vistas over lunch or, breathing in
the cool-night air under a starlit sky over dinner. The
Village restaurant conveniently located at this old barn
opens up to 09.00 pm daily (10.00 pm only Sat) for
delightful European cuisine |

When you enter into Village Farm you will
find the farm map in front of the welcoming area.
Here you can quickly learn about the whole
area farm plan indicating the places and points of interest with
directions and connecting paths.
 The center of activities, the Village Old
Barn, is the first reception area and later on,
place for relaxation and catering.
The Village Old Barn was formally used for
our farm products storage and packings.
The building interior has been incorporated
with features and facilities redecorated for use as a reception hall,
shops, restaurant, and library as well as for farm stay.
Next to the old storage field to the east,
you can see a large concrete pond situated on the hilltop that is used for
rainwater storage. The French
style winery, Chateau Des Brumes, was built on the right side of the pond.

Accommodation

The village itself is only a five-minute walk north of the Barn.
Walking through the village will take you to two different kinds of houses
for farm stay, namely “Reef Rock House” and “Village Home”.
Next to these houses is the Village Mill,
and original factory and the storage granary.
The rest of the buildings are workshop, worker’s quarters, and the office
at the village exit.
Coming out from the village, the walking path will take you to the
winery. From there it swings through the rows of
grapes in the central plantation area of the farm.
You can stop at the viewpoint for a
panoramic scenic view and come around to the Village Old Barn to relax
with food, wine and shopping at the Farm shop.
In case you would like to take few extra
yards walk eastward from winery past the viewpoint, it will take you to a
large Banyan tree and the cliff over looking the city.
There more houses for farm stay “Sun Set
Terrace House” and “Cliff Cottage”, are located. Nearly the Sunset Terrace
House, the flow plantation and flower shop are located flower are packed
here for a beautiful Village Farm souvenir. |

This seasoned
timber villa is set on a solid rock foundation atop
of the ridge that runs through the property, marking
its high point. From the famed terrace, guests can
take in the stunning views of the valley floor below
with its farm and village life and the breathtaking
sunsets from which the House takes its name.
You may choose from
fifteen different accommodation rooms in the house,
each one unique with its own settings and comforts.
The ground floor of the villa is equipped with a
small exercise room coupled with a Jacuzzi inside
glassed walls to help keep you in shape and relax
the body, mind and soul. Step outside and you may
step straight into the horizon-less ‘Sky Pool’, a
swimming pool built into the hillside high above the
valley floor, an experience as dramatic and exciting
as it is pleasurable.

to take in the sunrise or the sunset in this
romantic, country villa.

connected through a balcony inside the house's second floor two indoor
