In our restaurants you will find an appetising and
appealing selection of
dishes from all corners
of the globe, all
prepared using the
freshest ingredients.
The emphasis is on low
fat, lower calorie food
with some vegetarian and
wheat, gluten, dairy and
sugar-free dishes
integrated into our
menus.
Three spa cuisine meals are included in your daily
tariff and can be taken
at the Emerald Room or
breakfast and lunch at
the Taste of Siam by the
beach. Dinner at Taste
of Siam incurs an
additional charge.
Our Taste of Siam restaurant offers a superb range of
international snack
foods and drinks for
those not participating
in a strict meal plan.
We also offer authentic
Thai dinners.
In the Orchid Lounge, you will find an extensive choice
of drinks (mocktails and
teas) and refreshments
available to quench your
thirst at any time of
the day.

A variety of books,
magazines and newspapers
are available in our
Library. Please contact
Guest Relations if you
would like to borrow a
book.
We provide Broadband Internet and WIFI access for
guests free of charge in
the Library.

Facilities and Pools
Chiva-Som has two pools, indoor and outdoor. The indoor
pool is heated to 34
degrees, while the
ambient temperature
warms the outdoor pool.
The water quality of
both pools is maintained
by utilising the
environmentally-friendly
sodium chloride
treatment system.
Every day in the Spa you can enjoy your choice of
sauna, steam, Jacuzzi
and cool plunge as part
of your programme. Our
Bathing Pavilion also
has a mixed (unisex)
steam room and
relaxation area.

Our Boutique carries a range of essential items, books,
artifacts, souvenirs and
branded Chiva-Som
products. If you have
any requests for items
that you would like to
purchase, please let us
know, over the years
we’ve shipped everything
from Chiva-Som to
guests, including a bed!
- Dress Code
We do request that no swimsuits or wet clothing are
worn in the Orchid
Lounge, Library or
Emerald Room restaurant
during the day, and that
footwear is worn in the
Emerald Room. Slippers
and bathrobes are
available on request as
you arrive at the
Emerald Room.
The dress code for
evening meals is
elegantly casual.
We also invite you to
enjoy wines and
champagnes selected by
Chiva-Som, to aid
relaxation in the
evenings after 6 p.m.

Gala Dinner : A
Supplement of US$ 400 plus 17.7 service charge and VAT per person
will be applied for a New year's Eve Gala Dinner on 31 Dec 10 .
Cancellation and No show Policy:
All cancellation or amendment must be made in written notice or
email to us with our acknowledgement within 35 days prior to arrival
date. Otherwise, we reserve a right to charge at least one-night
room rate per room. Cancellation of bookings for the period
from 20 Dec 10 to 5 Jan 11 require 75 days prior to arrival date.
For cancellations made with less than 70 days notice a 100%
cancellation fee will be applied.
No show:
total payment will be charged.
Full prepayment.
Visa/master Card is accepted
plus 3.5% service charge. Without credit card guarantee or cash
deposit, no booking is confirmed.
Rules and Regulations
-Children under the age of 16 are
not allowed in the resort.
- Smoking is only allowed in
designated outdoor areas.
- Alcoholic drinks are limited to
wine and champagne, available in the evening only
- Use of mobile phones is strictly
prohibited in public areas
- Appropriate sport shoes and attire
