The Veranda Resort and Spa is

How to get there
By Air (1 hour) Fly to Hua Hin by SGA
Airlineswhich operates daily flights
between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport)
and Hua Hin. Then, you can take an
airport taxi to the resort in Cha-Am
about 15 minutes. The flights take about
1 hour. Schedules are subject to change

There are 2 major routes as follows:-
Nakhon Pathom - Ratchaburi -
Phetchaburi - Cha Am, take the Phetkasem
Road, highway no.4, total distance from
Bangkok to the resort is about 170 kms.
Samut Sakhon - Samut Songkhram -
Phetchaburi - Cha Am, use Phra Rama 2
Road, highway no.35, total distance from
Bangkok to the resort is about 130 kms.
By Bus
Air-conditioned and non air-con buses
leave Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal
for Petchaburi many times daily. Then,

Nearby Attraction Hua Hin is located approximately
200 kms southwest of Bangkok Recently
upgraded highways provide for a
leisurely three hour drive to Thailand's
oldest beach resort area. Hua Hin first
became popular as a summer retreat in
the 1920's with the construction of the
railway line from Bangkok. A beautiful
colonial style railway hotel was built
near Hua Hin's famous rocks in 1923 and
the area finally became well establlshed
as a beach resort when King Rama VII
built a beachside palace named “Klai
Kangwon” ther in 1926 Thai Royal Family
members still customanly spend vacation
time there.
Hua Hin also boasts Thailand’s
first golf course (still in use as the
Royal Hua Hin Golf Course after some 70
years.)
Hua Hin is unlike most other
beach resorts in Thailand. If you are
looking for bright lights and frantic
all night action you will be
disappointed there. It is very much a
family holiday resort area with good
shopping and multi – national
restaurants including, of course, the
best Thai seafood the country has to
offer.
Apart from its fabulour beaches,
Hua Hin is best known for its cotton
products, which come in a wide range of
prints and colours, and its dried
seafood products which enjoy enduring
appeal among those who favour Thai and
Chinese cuisine. A nightly street market
in Hua Hin town is a favourite venue for
shoppers.
Pa La U Waterfall National Park and
Elephant Village Take a trip into the tropical
rain forest west of Hua Hin, close to
the Burmese border. The trek will take
you deep into the uninhabited jungle of
peaks, valleys and the multi level Pa La
u waterfall. Bath in the cool waters and
listen to the sound of the wild life.
Upon your return from the trek, lunch
and refreshments are served.
Elephant Village Shortly after lunch, the bus will
depart from the national park, taking
you to the Elephant Village, where you
will be treated to an Elephant Safari
ride through the local country side.
Remark
Guest are advised to wear comfortable
walking shoes, as some stages of the
trek can be slippery.

Sam Roi Yod National Park Depart from the hotel for a 50
minute bus ride to visit a pineapple
plantation, then continue on to a
tradition fishing village, where we
board a long tail boat which will take
us to beaches of Sam Roi Yod national
park.
Prayanakorn Cave After a break, take a 20 minute
trek, climbing up to Prayanakorn cave to
see the wooden pavilion erected for King
Rama V on his visit 100 years ago. When
you return down to the beach, a well
deserved lunch and refreshments is
served in the local restaurant. The rest
of the afternoon is spent relaxing and
bathing on the white sandy beaches
before returning to the hotel.

along sun block or lotions.
